Yes, all our cattle grids are proudly manufactured in the UK, ensuring quality and reliability. All our standard grids are manufactured and designed to conform with BS4008:2006 as a bare minimum. This British Standard outlines the criteria for cattle grids designed to confine livestock while allowing pneumatic-tired vehicles to pass through. It encompasses grids intended for cattle, sheep, deer, goats, and pigs, offering guidance on their utilization, placement, design, construction, and upkeep.

Our cattle grids come in various load-bearing capacities, ranging from 26 tonnes to 122 tonnes, tailored to your specific needs.

The British Standard suggests a minimum road width of 2750mm (9ft) to enable emergency vehicle access. Our smallest standard grid width for all cattle and deer grids is 3000mm (10ft). Custom narrow grids with a 9ft pit width can be produced upon request.

The recommended depth for a cattle grid ranges from a minimum of 250mm to a maximum of 450mm. All our grids are 355mm deep as standard, but we can make any depth you require, just get in touch.

BS 4008:2006 states that a minimum jump length of 2.6 meters is required to comply with the standard. All our cattle grids have a minimum of 2.6 meters jump length as standard.
